My research interests lie at the intersection of micro-/nanofabrication, electrochemical biosensors, actuators, microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip systems. I favor interdisciplinary approaches to biological questions and have incorporated not only cell biology but also biomedical engineering in my research. In brief, my primary goal is to gain a better understanding of biochemical processes and is to develop a large portfolio of engineered biological tools in order to provide benefits for various biomedical applications.
